Mojo Monday.....on Tuesday!

Hey crafty friends!  Welcome to my Mojo Monday on Tuesday!!  LOL!  I had every intention on getting this done yesterday, but I gotta tell ya.  I could not function yesterday!  My craft space was such a **DISASTER** Even for ME!!  So I had to spend some time getting that crazy mess squared away so that I could actually move and find things again.

So here I am on Tuesday with my Mojo in full swing.  I used the sketch provided over on Mojo Monday for my card. Love when I get a chance to play along with these talented gals!

Take a PEEK at the sketch....MOJO MONDAY SKETCH BLOG.

I had such a blast playing with these FUN roller skates by UNITY!!  Aren't they the CUTEST?!!

So how do you like it?  I am LOVIN it!  My inspiration was the sketch and that fun funky paper I used a strip of.  Anyone know who manufactured it??  I haven't got a clue, but it had that super cool birdie scalloped border along the bottom too...YUM!

Wanted ya to see the little shimmer on the hearts...Isn't that just so much FUN?!  I colored them in with Copics and then painted some Creative Inspirations paint on them.

Well, I am off now to finish up some chores...Blech!  But, I will be back with more FUN soon.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I have been feeling so very springy the last few days!  I think mostly because of the beautiful days we have been having.  Oh, I look forward to getting outside in the dirt and planting some flowers and enjoying the light breeze and sunshine.  Todays card is all about jellybeans and bunnies...very Spring, right?

I used the Creative Inspiration paint colors Tutu Pink, Mint and Mellow Yellow and painted them right onto my stamp.  Then I stamped my Jelly beans and bunnies all over my card.  After the paint dried I layered some paper and embellishments on top.
I hope you can see the shimmer here.  These bunnies and Jelly beans turned out really sweet!  And don't be afraid to really paint up your stamps, I usually just wash them off in the sink when I am done.

Supplies:
Papers: We R Memory Keepers (peep collection)
Stamps: We R Memory Keepers (Easter Candy)
Paints: Creative Inspirations (Tutu pink, mint, mellow yellow)
Flower and ribbon: Noel Mignon Kit
Border punch: Fiskars
Distress Ink: Tea Dye

Have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by,

Hello, It's March already?!

So today I got bit by the creative BUG!  YAY!  Love it when that happens.  I have been using so many different things lately that my desk is well...how can I put this...Completely drowning in everything but the kitchen sink!  Yikes!  I say it shows I have been busy...but my hubby says it is just a chaotic mess!  **Insert evil laugh**

Anyway, I thought I should give a peek at what I have been up to today.

I have been playing with some We R Memory Keepers again!  I am also LOVING these liquid pearls!  YUM!

Something else that has kept me busy is the Survivor challenge over on TallyScrapper.  I have been having so much fun so far with the challenges....but GUESS WHAT?!!  I have been sent to REDEMPTION Island!!!!  GASP!  SO now I gotta try and save my arse from being voted off!!!  YIKES!  So my challenge was to create a page using 5 of the same embellishments, the color orange (to represent my flame), and at least one of these words....OUTWIT, OUTPLAY, OUTLAST

So how did I do????
Funny thing...I wanted to paint my Orange on..but I had no orange paint.....UGH, What's a girl to do?!!

**LIGHTBULB**

Go and see what is in the kids crafty stash!!!
And EUREKA!!!
Orange washable paint, courtesy of Crayola!!  YAY!

I had to make use of some unconventional means to get all of my letters for all of my words.

Supplies:
Papers: Cosmo Cricket (Snorkel my fav.!)
Orange paint: Crayola (thanks boys)
Letter stickers: Thickers(subway, remarks)
Dew drops

Wish me luck in this Survivor challenge, hope I will be around for a few more weeks!!

Blast from the past Blog Hop

Hello friends! It is time for the Taylored Expressions blast from the past blog hop! I hope you are joining me from Kimberly's BLOG.  If not you might want to start off at the Taylored Expressions Blog so you see all the great creations on todays blog hop.  You can see a complete list of all the blogs at the bottom of this post.

This month we are GOING GREEN!  And if you are in need of a little creative boost check out this great sketch!

I used this sketch as a jumping off point for altering this little composition book.
Sorry for the yucky picture....

This little book transformed to this..
I used the Boys will be Boys stamp set.  This set is so much fun!  Sticking with the GREEN theme I used some papers from Basic Grey that had some green in them and were also masculine.  I colored the ties with Copics in Y11, G14 and B04. I also distressed the edges with some black ink.

Here is the inside of the book.  This sweet sentiment is also from the Boys will be Boys stamp set.  I used Distress inks in Broken china and Shabby Shutters to cover the page, then I stamped the sentiment on top using black Momento ink.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.  Be sure to visit all the blogs today, for lot's of inspiration!!
Happy Craftin'!
