Last day of May?!

Wow as the last day of May comes to a close summer shifts into high gear! Today the boys spent the day at the pool enjoying the sun and fun with friends. Seems like spring was hardley here at all and now the jump to summer. I have a freeling that summer is going to fly by too!!

Well, with all the sun lately it has inspired me to color some summer lovin' Tildas. I just got this Tilda and am having so much fun coloring her. I have 2 cards to share with you that feature her. I am happy with the sunny feel of them both. I used some sketches from CPS for both cards also. They are currently looking for a few guest designers!! Oh how I would love to do that!! If you want to find out more check here.

I am a little disappointed that the shimmer on the pail and shovel didn't show up in this picture. It is there though..*snicker*

I also created a card with this weeks sketch. I have been having fun with my new Unity stamps also!! There is so much good stuff out there!!

A little peek inside..

Have a great rest of your day!! Jenn K

So on to the crafty stuff!

Here are a few cards I made for the Unity Blog hop fun!!
Oh how wonderful this new set of stamps from Unity is!! I love them all.

I also decided to create this little book to keep all my Copic marker colors in. It is so handy to have while coloring an image or for reference while shopping...HEHE. I used a stamp from last months Unity kit of the month set and a spellbinders butterfly die. I love the way this turned out. Thank you so much Jodi for the Copic marker file!! You are awesome!

Cuttlebug Be inspired #33

This weeks Inspiration is Sponsored by Elle Studio http://www.shopellesstudio.com/index.php The design team all got some cute things to work with. Monogram is the theme. I decided to create a little card that has a pocket that I put tea bags into. I used a friends first initial for the Monogram on the front.

I used a black chipboard L on a Elle studio Journaling tag...you can find them HERE. Add a little Two scoops Basic Grey and some ribbon and voila you have your card front.

On the inside I decided to use some more Basic Grey paper and add a few buttons. I stamped the word Hello from a new stamp set by Unity. Add your tea bags and just like that you are finished with a sweet little card to let someone know you are thinking of them.

Hope you hop on over to the Cuttlebug Challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team has created. They are always making such wonderful things to inspire us all!!

Till next time..have fun craftin', Jenn K

Busy Busy!!

Well, I have been creating some more cards for a few challenges. The first card I will share if for the Copic Creations challenge. I am new to this challenge blog but, it looks like fun. The challenge this week was to color blonde hair. I colored one of my new Edwins from the Magnolia Butterfly collection.

The next challenge I took part in was from Marks paper company. There challenge was to create a card or project with stitching on it. So I created a card using some embroidery floss from my cross-stitch stash and a new Unity stamp I got. I must have a thing for butterflies right?.. I am starting to notice a theme..LOL!!

Here is the inside of my card. I love to incorporate the inside of my card to the outside. It really gives a nice finish.

The last challenge I will be posting here is for Mojo Monday. They have an awesome sketch this week. I decided to make a FAthers dya card...It is fast approaching.

I used some new stamps from Taylored Expessions and some BAsic grey cardstock...Yummy!

And I finished off the inside of this one as well.

That is all for now, Hope you had a fab. weekend.

Cuttlebug BE INSPIRED # 31

This week we had some great alterables to work with from Create my treasures.

I decided to create a little mini album all about some summer fun my sisters Family had at Pismo beach. This was so much fun to create and I left a few places for her, so she can journal her thoughts from that summer trip.

This is a picture of the back of the album.

Here is what the album looks like from the side. I used the new Snorkel line from Cosmo cricket. Love that paper, so Fun to work with.

Here is just a small preview of one of the pages out of the book.

I hope you decide to come on over to the cuttlebug challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team has created. We all love to hear your comments and see your projects.

Happy craftin', Jenn K

Cuttlebug BE INSPIRED # 30

What a wonderful die cut Peek-a-view box I got to work with this week from creative cuts!! WOW is all I can say. The products are awesome..already cut and scored. Head on over to http://www.creativecutsandmore.com/ to get some.

First I embossed the clear insert with the birds and swirls embossing folder in my cuttlebug.

I then cut a border from some Cosmo cricket paper. I punched the border with my Fiskars flowers border punch. I love to use these punched to give a little extra detail to the edge of my paper.

The top and bottom of the box I stamped with some swirls and then heat embossed the paper before I assembled them. Then I finshed decorating with a rub-on, A beautiful flower Some great vintage lace. I spelled out forever with some letter stickers. Finally I filled the box with some multi colored kisses.

I love the way it turned out and how easy the die cuts from creative cuts were to use...LOVE IT!!

Don't forget to head on over to the Cuttlebug challenge blog for the rest of the DT projects. Also you will want to visit us over on the cuttlebug challenge blog regularly because we alway's have something new to inspire you.

Cuttlebug Challenge, Relax, Rejuvenate, Be Inspired!

I am so excited to be a part of another awesome Blog hop. This time WOW! is all I can say...I hope you are ready for some absolutely fab. prizes, inspiration and lots of fun!
So I am sure by now you know what to do...if for some reason this is your first stop go to the Cuttlebug Challenge blog to begin so you can collect all the flowers from the beginning.

Alright now what flower are you collecting here?... One of my all time favorites, the Calla lily. Oh how I love these flowers! They are so elegant and beautiful. Just looking at them makes me relax.

Other things I do to relax is listen to music...I turn it up real loud and just dance and act crazy for a little while. Really helps unwind. Another thing I like to do is my crafts. It takes the focus off the stress and onto something I really enjoy. So those are a few things I like to do.

Your next stop on the hop will be the very talented and sweet ALLISON.
Have fun collecting all the flowers and remember we will be partying all weekend so come back and join us for all the fun!

Also be sure to sign up as a follower of my blog and leave me a comment to be eligible to win some fab. prizes during the blog hop.
