Here is my take:

I had so much fun creating this card! I love the colors and the hand cut flower details. I also added some shimmer to the little bees wings. Fun! I used a new stamp set I got in my Back porch memories kit this month.

I had some fun with this one too!! Here is my take on this sketch:
I had some fun coloring with my copics again. The image is a stamp called reflective by Sugar Nellie. I love their stamps!! I also used stamps from Close to my heart on this card. I used paper from the same K&Co sheets as the card above.

Copics!!

Here is a card I created using Copics to color in my stamped image. This is the first time I have used these awesome markers...so I still have a lot to learn. There is a slight learning curve to these but, it is worth the effort. The results are amazing. The colors are so bright and crisp..LOVE it!! I definitely think I will be investing in more of these markers and some different paper to color on. The paper I have been using seems to bleed a little outside the lines.

Here is the inside of my card. I like to incorporate the inside of the card as well. I think it just finishes off the card. This card is going to be for my Aunt's birthday this week.

Well, I will be posting more of my adventures in using these Copic markers soon. Till next time, Happy craftin'!! Jenn K

Varks!!

How fun the sketch is for the challenge this week. And some great prizes too!! Gotta love that Hero Arts stuff!! So enough chatter here is my creation....
I created this using some flower soft in the flower basket. This is the first time I have used this product and it is a lot of fun to use and very easy. You just dab some glue on and smoosh some flower soft into it. Poof!... you get a wonderfully realistic result.

Here is a close up of the flower basket. I also added some glitter while the glue was still wet just to add a little sparkle..it almost reminds me of dew on the flowers.

Also don't forget to come by cuttlebug challenge...you still have time to enter for some great prizes and get your thought to Provo Craft. Visit Here to join in the fun!!

Come back soon...Happy Craftin', Jenn K

2Sketches 4 you

Well, I am trying to get the sunshine here!! I found this really bright fun sunny paper today. It is by KI memories and is called juicy summer. I really like it.

Today's sketch over at 2 sketches 4 you is done by Laura. You can find it here. I had a lot of fun with it. I layered a few papers on a white card base. Then added my chipboard elements and a polka dotted flower. A few buttons embellished with some stickles and a strip of ribbon.

Here is the inside of my card.

Hope you enjoyed my little bit of sunshine...keep craftin' Jenn K

What did you do today??

Well, after finishing a few chores I got to work on my youngest scrapbook. I am so close to being caught up I can see the finish line now....YES!! Of course I am still pretty far back in our family album and my oldest son but that is o.k. It's not a race right?.

Some fall pictures of the little one. I took these pictures on a day that we were having fun in the leaves. I love seeing his cute little feet. I am so glad it was pretty warm that day. Of course he loves to go barefoot all the time...

Halloween!!! Well, I had to scrap it. My little one was Robin...part of the Batman crew. The boys all dressed up. They even made it into the local paper...celebrities for a day!! Check out that stash of candy he got!! Can anyone say CAVITY!!

Fun times at the air show last summer...I love that picture of my son and his daddy.

And at the end of the day....what a beautiful sight. I never tire of a sunset. LOVE IT!!

Happy craftin to ya Jenn K

Cuttlebug be inspired # 23

So how do you use your punches in a new and unique way?? That is the challenge this Wednesday on the Cuttlebug Challenge. So I had a little trouble figuring out what to do that would be unique...then while thinking about spring time breezes and sunshine, what came to mind?? PINWHEELS. Yes, pinwheels. So I decided to use my square punch and make pinwheels. I love the outcome. I am not sure how Unique it is but, it made me smile anyway...

We would all love to see what you can come up with on the cuttlebug challenge blog this week. Come on over to http://cuttlebugchallenge.blogspot.com/ and join in the fun. Plus you just gotta see what the other Design team members came up with.

A new challenge card

So the challenge over at the pink elephant has to do with Buttons. All you have to do is include buttons on your card...fun right??

Well, Here it is. I decided to play along and this is what I came up with. I just love these fun little ribbon sliders I came across....so great!! I wish it would show up in the picture but the "Cup of frienship" sentiment is glittery. I used my atyou Spica glitter pens to trace over the sentiment. It gave it just a little bling...

So go over and check it out...they have a $15.00 gift cert. you can win to Altered Pages. Here is the link to The Pink Elephant blog

Cuttlebug be inspired # 21

Today the inspiration challenge is Watercolors! I just love to use watercolors. It is one of my most favorite ways to color a stamped image or even just paint my own background or add a little color to whatever strikes my fancy on a project.

Today I chose to watercolor a background for this bicycle stamp. I really like the way it all turned out.

I hope you can join in the fun this week on cuttlebug challenge. Also come by to see the rest of the designers cards..I am sure they will be fabulous inspiration for ya!!

Brothers...

Well, I am getting closer to being caught up in ONE album.....YES!!! I am happy about the way this layout turned out. I used the Basic Grey Mellow papers. This picture is just CLASSIC. I think it captures the spirit of my boys...LOL!!

Although the little brother has caught on to some of the TRICKS now. It has been about a year since this picture was taken so that gives plenty of LEARNING time for little ones to learn new TRICKS.
MY boys are so much fun!! I wouldn't want them any other way......then I would probably get TOO much sleep right?? And what would Ma do with all that free time??
Have fun!! Jenn K

2 Sketches 4 You sketch..

This months sketch is done by none other than Kazan! It is a wonderful sketch and the dt did an absolutly fab job with it too!! Check it out..http://2sketches4you.blogspot.com/2009/03/kazans-sketch-21.html
I had fun playing with a new Favorite things stamp and some sei papers. Love the colors of the SEI dill blossom line!! They are so great for spring and summer.

I couldn't get a good picture of it but I used Shimmerz in sunflower over the top of the Tag that reads "Sending you sunshine".

I also added some sparkle to the doggies colar and to my girlie's hat.

And finaly the inside of my card...I am pleased with the turnout of this card. I may use this sketch again in the near future.

Happy Craftin' Jenn K
