What are your plans??  Do you make New Years Resolutions??  If so, did you keep last years??  I am not much for making new years resolutions myself.  But this year I would like to try and keep my crafty space more organized and tidied up.  I have seen some fellow bloggers sharing their favorite moments and projects from the past year.  I like this....so I decided to join in too.  Here are my TOP 5 moments and projects from the past year.  Much harder to pick than I realized!  LOL!!

Christmas Eve wishes!!

Hello, First I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!  Today I am so pleased to share a card I created using a technique behind my stamped image that Samantha recently shared on the Creative Inspirations blog.  See her tutorial HERE.
I also used the squish technique that I shared a little while back on the card base,  I LOVE all the shimmer on this card.  All created with Creative Inspirations Paints!  I painted the flower with Winter Frost.
The colors I used are Garnet, Green Olive, Turquoise & Winter Frost.
I really love all of these colors together..So pretty!

Hope you have enjoyed my card inspiration today.  Remember you still have time to join in on this weeks challenge that is inspired by holiday cooking.  Happy Craftin'!

Paper Trees...

Hello Friends!  It has been a while since I have been on here.  That doesn't mean I haven't been busy crafting my little heart out...but I have been rather bad at getting on here and sharing.  So today I want to share a paper tree I made for the house.  I really love it and got the idea from a friend over on the Noel Mignon forum.  If you would like to make one of these trees you can see the instructions here.
I used a pottery barn catalog to make mine.  It really was easy and took about 30 min. to fold up.  I am not sure how to store this decoration for next year...any suggestions??  It does drop a little glitter now and then...not sure but a spray sealant might help with that.
Well, that is all I have for today.   Thanks so much for stopping by today.

For the tea lover...

Hello, I hope your weekend has been wonderful!  It has been COLD and WINDY here!!  No snow yet though.   Today I am sharing a gift sure to please the tea or even coffee lover.  I created this using some stamps from Unity that I watercolored and cut out.  The frame is cut using Spellbinders framabilities die.

The background paper is some Basic Grey paper I came across in my stash.  I am not sure what collection it is from though.  I distressed the edges of the frame and the paper the teapots and cups are on with Tea Dye distress ink.

Have you gotten all of your presents made or bought?  I still have a few more things to get done.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  JennK

Some December Daily with Creative Inspirations Paint

Hello...  As many crafters are, I am working on a Dec. daily this year.  This is the first year I have done this and so far it has been amazing.  I am sharing my day 7 page with you today.  Here are a few details to get started.

As you can see I used some of the Creative Inspirations paints on my title and on this lovely flower.  The color I chose to work with is Autumn Wheat.  I just am in LOVE with this color. It adds warmth and shimmer wherever you apply it.
Here are the completed pages.  (remember you can click on the images to enlarge them). I have loved using these paints not only to paint with, but to highlight areas of my art.  I hope you have enjoyed my project today.  And remember you still have time to enter this weeks challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sharing a mermaid today

Hello friends!  Today I would like to share a card I created with Verona the Mermaid for Whimsical Ink Sorority.  This stamp is available at QKD.  I decided to stamp this image using the versamark ink pad.  I then embossed the image with some Chameleon Blue embossing powder. I cannot say where someone would get this embossing powder.  I got mine years ago when my hubby and I still lived in Washington at a local store there.  Sadly the store is no longer in business. :-(

Back to the card....I used Basic Grey Wisteria paper for the background.  I also inked up the edges with purple ink and added some twine (love this stuff!).

Here is a quick peek inside...
I used up some scraps of the Basic grey paper and the Kraft cardstock.

Thank so much for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed todays card.

Happy Craftin'!!  JennK

Amazing package arrived today!!

WOW!!  Hello friends.  I wanted to share what came in the mail yesterday!!  All I can say is Jenni Hufford, You are one generous gal!!  Thanks so much!!  I recently started following this talented gal on her blog the Hufford House.  It is full of great projects as well as some Cute pictures and fantastic stories.  Well, one day I was hopping along on the Ella friendship hop and saw she was doing a giveaway of a Flat rate box filled with goodies!!  And guess what?... I won!  I was so excited and had no idea what I had won exactly, but was just excited to have a few new things to play with in my crafty place.  Well, I gotta say when the box arrived I was giddy with excitement.  My family all thought I was off my rocker because of the Joy a box brought me...hehehee...if they only knew!  :)

So without hesitation I opened this Wonderful box and WOW!!  I was completely floored with the amount of goodies inside!  Words cannot describe..so I will show you a few pictures.
ME (no makeup!! YIKES)  My son took this picture of me while I was opening up the box.

What was inside!!  There was so much paper inside that I cannot even show them all in this picture!

So, I just want to say again.  THANK YOU Jenni!!  You are most generous!

I will be back soon with more pictures from my Dec. Daily....

Working hard..

Hello friends!!  Hope your Saturday is wonderful so far.  I have been busy working on my Dec. Daily.  I have not taken my pictures for today yet...but I do have up to Yesterday done and I wanted to share the pages with pictures and journaling. Oh and don't forget you can click on the images for a larger view.

So let's jump right in....

Day 1
Day2
Day 3

There you have it so far.  I am really enjoying the daily so far.  I am hoping to not forget to take my pictures each day.  I also struggled a little bit about what to journal about each day...the days we weren't really doing anything but the normal everyday activities.  Then I remembered that in part that is what this album is all about.  A way to reflect on our lives now and in the future.  I think it will be interesting to see each year how the activities change and how some will stay the same. Are you doing a Dec. Daily??  I would love to see what you are doing in your book too.  Leave me a link in my comments so I can take a peek.

Thanks for stopping by today.  JennK
