Cuttlebug Be inspired #29

Today we were able to create some fun projects for Mothers Day...My graphico sponsored us with some great digital stamps. Give them a look here.
For my card I chose to print the flowers out in 2 different sizes and color them in with my copic markers. I also added some sparkle with some glitter pens. I used the birds and swirls embossing folder in my cuttlebug for the background. For the inside of my card I used a leftover strip of pp. For more inspiration come over to the cuttlebug challenge blog to see the rest of the dt projects.

Also be sure to mark your calenders for our BIG spa event starting May 1!!

Another challenge

2 Sketches 4 You has another great sketch this week. Take a look here. For this card I used some K& Co paper. I cut out a few stars and cut a circle and wrote a sentiment I thought went with the theme. Of course I had to add a little bling too. A cute swirl.
Till next time, Happy craftin', Jenn K

A great sketch..

by Laura over at the 2 sketches 4 you blog. What a fun time I had with this one..so cool. I used some new papers and stamps I recently got. That alway's is so fun playing with new stuff.
I started out by stamping my building and then coloring them in with my Copics. I stamped the sentiment and inked the edges as well as over the stamped sentiment. I cut my card base from some printed paper by K&Co. I also cut a coordinating strip that I decided to use a fiskars punch on the edge. Added some fun ribbon too. Here is the inside of my card. I love to finish my cards on the inside as well. Time for you to try out this fun sketch yourself. See it here.

Till next time...Happy craftin', Jenn K

Cuttlebug Be inspired #27

Today for the Wednesday inspiration we bring you numbers. Today is a good day for it. Many people will be sending off their taxes today. We want to bring you some crafty inspiration.

My take on this weeks challenge was to do a fun layout of my oldest son. He is now 9 yo so it was fun looking back at when he was so much younger. I used some beloved Basic Grey paper and my cuttlebug of course. I finally got the swiss dots folder and made quick use of it. I just love how my cuttlebug always transforms my projects into something much more fun.

I also created this layout, numbers can be used in so many ways...so get some out and play along with us.Come take a look at what the rest of the design team created with numbers HERE

Also if you didn't know we reached 1000 followers so as promised there are 2 more Sneak Peeks on the site. More than one reason to come over and take a look.

Cuttlebug Be inspired #26

Today is the day for the Cuttlebug Challenge Wednesday Inspiration!!
This time the challenge is embossing on vellum. Here is my take on the challenge:

I decided to make a little treat box and a gift card. Inside I placed a few candies on top of some Easter grass.

If you would like instructions on how I created this box scroll down...

For the bottom of the box you will need a piece of cardstock cut to 8 1/2" X 8 1/2". I chose to use some double sided printed cardstock for this. Next you will score all side at 2 1/5". Then fold on score lines and trim, so that you can fold in and place adhesive to hold your box together.

Next we will create the box top. For this you will need a 6X6" piece of cardstock. Score at 1" on all sides and fold just like the bottom of the box. If you would like a window like mine then you will need a punch or die that you will use to cut out a shape in your box top. I used the spellbinders scalloped circle. Next I embossed some acetate with the birds and swirls folder. Then cut this to a 3 3/4" square to fit inside box top. Fold your sides and adhere to make your lid.

Lastly you want to embellish your box. I chose to trim the top with some ribbon and place a flower and sentiment on the top.

Enclose some treats and you are finished with your box.

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial and that you will come by Cuttlebug Challenge to see the rest of the dt creations.

Cuttlebug Be inspired #25

This Wednesday we were so fortunate to be able to use Sheetload cards to make our projects over at the cuttlebug challenge...we also had a fantastic sketch to work with. Sheetload was so generous and gave the entire dt some frosted as well as clear cards to play with...fun stuff!!

So for my card theme I chose to do a fun Spring card...hoping to bring on the sun here...LOL!! I just loved working with the frosted cards and some Sugar Nellie stamps. Of course to finish off my spring theme I had to include a few butterflies...

On the inside of this card I kept it simple. I love the print on this pretty pink paper by Cosmo cricket....very pretty and springy.

So Come on over to http://cuttlebugchallenge.blogspot.com/ to see what the rest of the design team came up with. Also all the dt over at cuttlebug challenge wants to see what you come up with and also you can enter to win some sheetload products for yourself.

Have fun craftin'.....Jenn K
