Hello, It is hump day today. That means it is time for another Wednesday Inspiration over at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog. Today is the last day of our month long birthday celebration. To bring things to a close we all created birthday Thank you cards in our theme. My theme has been monkey business. So perfect for so many in my family...
For my Thank you card I stamped a pocket (unity) and cut it out. Then I stamped the little peeking monkey and colored it in with prismacolor pencils. Cut out the colored monkey and attached him to the pocket. I bumped the little hands up with some foam dots, for added dimension. The white cardstock I embossed with the Cuttlebug thank you embossing folder. Then I inked the edges with distress ink in tea dye.
Overall this card was fun and easy to do. Make sure you hop on over to the Cuttlebug challenge blog to see the rest of the design teams creations. I hope you can join in the fun!

Happy days
Hello! I hope you are having a great day!! This week seems to be flying by and so is the month. It is already time to visit the pumpkin patch and think about the cooler weather ahead. I really love the crisp cool air in the fall....

Till next time, Happy craftin'! Jenn K

Wednesday Inspiration # 50
Wow! It is another Wonderful Wednesday Inspiration! Today I bring you an idea for a centerpiece for your birthday bash. Of course I am continuing the Monkey business....
I covered a container that once held some flowers with cardstock I embossed with the Herringbone Cuttlebug embossing folder. I stamped some leaves onto green cardstock and cut them out for the border around the bottom edge. For the "Trees" I used green pipe cleaners and more green stamped leaves. I used a hanging monkey I colored with Prismacolor pencils for between the trees. The Happy Birthday banner is attached to a wooden skewer cut down to size. I attached a few leaves and some ribbon embellishments. To get the trees to stay in place I stuffed packing peanuts and tissue paper in between the sticks.
I had fun creating this little centerpiece. I love it especially when I can re-purpose an old container. So great to recycle.
I hope you hop on over to the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog to take a peek at the rest of the design teams creations...they are so awesome!! Next week we will be bringing our Birthday bash to a close with Thank You Cards...
Thank you for dropping by today, drop me a note and let me know what you think of my project. I love hearing from you.

Where does the time go??
Wow! I just didn't realize it had been so long since I gave any attention to my blog....sheesh.
Well, I really haven't been crafting too much lately. Too bad because I really have a lot of ideas and things I want to do, just seems like I am very short on time lately. Add in a few migraines and I am lucky to get anything done.
Enough blahh...lets talk about some fun stuff.
Well, in case you missed it the Cuttlebug Challenge blog has all kinds of fun birthday ideas rolling on the blog right now....There is so much eye candy it makes my head spin!!
I also saw that Unity is having a neat bachelor type party right now....FUN! All the details can be found on the Splitcoast forum. I did manage a card for the challenge...
I was happy to be able to play with my Copics again...seems like forever since the last time I colored something with them...so fun.
There also seems to be so many fun new stamps and papers coming out for the fall and winter season....Can't believe we are already into the end of the year....where does it go?
Well, I am off to get kids bathed and one cranky toddler off to bed.

Up late...craftin'!
So I am about to hit the hay but, I wanted to take a quick moment to share a project I finished tonight for a friend. She is having a sweet baby girl in just a few short weeks. I am so excited for her and her family. I am especially excited to be able to create something for a little baby girl. I have 2 boys so, this was so fun!
I used the new line from Cosmo Cricket called Earth Love. This is some fun paper to work with. Of course I absolutely adore all their products!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it and sharing it with all my friends here in blog space......
I am off to bed now. Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Jenn K

Wednesday?
Wow I cannot believe it is Wednesday already! The long weekend has me all messed up....it feels like it should be Tuesday...
So since it is Wednesday..that means it is time for another great batch of awesome ideas from the Cuttlebug Design team. This whole month we are celebrating our 1 year anniversary. To celebrate we are creating birthday party supplies including invitations, thanks you notes, decorations, etc.
Today we all made some gift bags and a card to celebrate....
I created a little gift bag using the Bags and Tags Cricut cartridge. I embossed the bag using the Houndstooth cuttlebug embossing folder. The tag holder is embossed with the Birthday Cuttlebug Embossing folder. I used some more Monkey stamps from Stampendous and colored them with my prismacolor pencils. Added some ribbon and tissue paper to finish things off. I just love this cute little monkey set!
I hope you have time to join in the fun this week. I love to hear your comments and love to see your creations!

Be Inspired # 47
Hello Crafters! Today is the day for more Cuttlebug Blog Inspiration! This WHOLE month we will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary!! There will be a huge prize pack given away and so many fun inspirations you won't want to miss!
To start off the party the design team made party invitations...
Here is my invitation...I will be using a monkey theme for my party.
I created a pocket card for the invitaion. The image is by Stampabilities. I colored the monkey image in using Prismacolor pencils and then I cut the image out. I embossed the pocket with the Cuttlebug Birthday embossing folder. I distressed the edges with ink.
The insert for the card I embossed using the new Journaling card cuttlebug embossing folder. Stamped the Invitation onfo and a cute title. Placed a few grommets on the side and added some ribbon and a monkey image I colored in with Prismacolor pencils. The bananas are a sticker by Jolee's.
Be sure to come to the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog to see all the rest of the design teams creations. Follow along all month and you will have an entire party in a box when we are done.
