Pink Elephant Monday!

Hello!  Today I bring you another challenge from The Pink Elephant!  This week we are thinking Spring and Pastels, so the challenge is a color challenge.  Just use some pretty pastels on your project.  We were so lucky to be able use some stamps from Cuttin Cafe!  They have some really CUTE images just in time for Easter and spring projects!

I used some Copics to color this Cute image, added some ribbon and a little embossing.  

The inside of my card I used some scraps I had left of Cosmo Cricket.  

Also if you haven't heard The Pink Elephant will be bring a new challenge to you on Thursdays!!!  Oh it is so exciting, it will be all about scrappin'!!  WooHoo so all you scrappy gals and guys join us for our first challenge on April 1st!!  Also we are still lookin for a few talented individuals to join us in this fun new venture.  If you are interested see THIS post for all the details.

Wild Flower Wednesday!!

Happy Wild Flower Wednesday!!  Hope your first few days of Spring have been magnificent!!  Today it is time for another challenge over on the Wildflower Patch.  The challenge is to create your own flowers and use some ribbon on a project.  I decided to create a little gift box out of a recycled round container.

I just love this little fairy, she can be used to grant so many wishes...

I am going to be using this little box for a small gift for a birthday.  Hope she loves the gift as well as the box.

And here is a close up of my handmade flower.  I used some ribbon to create the base of this flower.  Very Fun and easy to do.

And more ribbon along the edges of the box.  This was the perfect size to wrap around my container and helped to strengthen the edges too.

Monday with TPE!!

Good Morning!  So sorry I am late getting my post out for todays wonderful challenge over on the Pink Elephant!!  WOW!!  today was the first day back to school for the kidos after our looong Spring Break.  I got the kids off to school without a hitch and thought I had everything going so smoothly....then I realized, whoops I forgot to post my project for TPE!!  How could I forget that??!!  So sorry!!  So without further delay the challenge this week is a sketch challenge.  The sketch was created by our very own talented Robin!  Thanks Robin!

And here is my card...

I had fun using up some buttons and scraps of paper for this card.  And that super sweet stamp is out of the Unity March KOM.

Tuesday Trigger time

Hello crafters!  Today the sun is shining and it is feeling much more like the first days of Spring.

Today I wanted to share a new to me challenge called Tuesday Triggers over on Moxi Fab!  These little triggers are so inspiring and I am glad I had a chance to play along.

The idea is to use a picture as a trigger for a theme for your project....the trigger for this challenge is...

Isn't this chair so fabulous anyway!!?  Who wouldn't be inspired?

Here is a card that it inspired me to create.

I used a new stamp set from Unity.  It is the KOM for March...isn't it yummy too?  The kraft paper is actually a bag I recycled.  I love the weight of the paper and this decorative edge is a nice bonus! 

I can't wait to see this weeks Tuesday trigger.  Stay tuned for The TPE Monday challenge!

Just in time...

I think I just made the deadline for the Bo Bunny challenge this week.  You had to pull out some of your Bo Bunny goodness and use green, cream or white and aqua in a layout.  I decided to pull out some of the Flutter butter collection I had left.  Oh how I LOVE that line!

Here is a close up of some of the embellies I used.  

This picture is a little dark sorry.  We have gotten another blast from Winter trying to make a return today!  Ugg!!  I wish Spring would come and stay awhile...

So I took these pictures a little while back, and have been waiting to scrap them.  I just LOVE how the layout came together.  I gotta tell ya, it has been so long since I have scrap booked that it took me a bit to get this page to flow how I wanted.  I am glad I kept at it...because now I couldn't be happier with the results.  I could be happier about the picture quality though....LOL!!

I also finished up a card inspired by the Die cuts R us challenge this week.  The challenge there is to use the new My Minds Eye papers as your inspiration for color.  Here is what I came up with,

I just love this little kitty by Mo Manning!  So sweet and mischievous...

Alright enough gabbing by me...I gotta get back to scrappin'!!  Ya know I created a page now I have the "fever" again!!  What a Yummy "Fever" to have though.

Wildflower Wednesday is HERE!!

Hi!  Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday!  The challenge this week on The Wild Flower Patch is all about Spring and Spring cleaning!!  I challenge you to use up some of your existing stash to create a wonderful project all about Spring!  Whatever that means to you, whether it be gardening, or flowers, maybe rain or the dreaded cleaning...HA!!  Sift through your supplies and use up some of your stash to make room for the new stuff you know you just HAVE to HAVE!!  *giggles*

Alright now I used up some designer paper scraps as well as some cardstock that I have in my scraps stash to make this card.

Next I created a few Bookmarks (thanks Pinky for the inspiration!) for my sons class to enjoy.

These were all made with paper scraps from my stash.  I love using up some scraps, especially when it makes room for the new goodies coming in Spring.  I know you have some scraps that you could use up for this challenge too.  Hop on over and take a look and play along!  we would love to see your creation.

Hello Tuesday...

I am back today with a project that I recently finished up as a gift for my mom.  She was looking for a book to house her cross stitch patterns she would like to make herself.  So this is what I came up with....

This is the front cover and below is the inside of the front cover.

Next is a pocket I created for the first page.  I thought it would be nice to have a place for her floss and scissors.  Or any other little thing she needed while working on a project. The inside pages are lined on one side and graph paper on the other.  

And lastly the inside of the back page.....

I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Monday with TPE!!

Hello and Happy MONDAY!!  Today I bring the Monday challenge to you from The Pink Elephant aka TPE....the challenge this week is all about SPRING!!  Oh how I am longing for warmer days and flowers to plant.  We were so honored to be sponsored by All That Scraps!!  WOOHOO, they have some wonderful things in their shop, so be sure to take a look.

Alright on to the 2 cards I made for this challenge this week.

Isn't this the sweetest little boy?  He is all ready to give some beautiful tulips to someone special.  

I use Copics to color him and the patterned papers are by K&Co....I also embossed some green cardstock with some flowers using an embossing folder by Sizzix.    Oh how he makes me excited for Spring already!

Next up I made this flower shaped card using the scalloped circle nestie.

I also colored this image using Copics.

Another Wild Flower Wednesday challenge!!

Hello!  Welcome to another Wild Flower Wednesday!  Today the challenge is all about color.  So grab up some RED, a little BLACK and a dab of WHITE and create your masterpiece for The Wild Flower Patch Kids to see.

Here is my creation.  I used up some old patterned paper....I just think it worked out so great.  Plus I am using what I have!!  YAY!! The digital stamp can be found HERE in the store her name is Poppy! She is a sweet Butterfly Fairy that is part of the All A Flutter set.

Monday............

Hello all!  So sorry I am posting so late today.  It has definitely been a Monday for me.  My little one is still not feeling well and so off we went to the doctor again.  He came home with a new antibiotic and a diagnosis of Walking Pneumonia.  So he will be resting the rest of the day today and the next till the antibiotics kick in.

Now on to the challenge over on The Pink Elephant.  This week is all about invitations.  Whether it be to a birthday party or a barbecue we want to see it...

I went with a birthday theme for mine.  The stamps I used are from a set of Stampin' Up.  Embossing is a birthday folder from sizzix.  The rest is some scraps I dug up in my craft room.  So much fun and so quick and easy.

Have fun with this challenge, I look forward to seeing all the different ideas everyone comes up with,

Happy, Happy Friday!!

Hello and Happy Friday!!  YAY!!  I am happy for the weekend to finally be here!  Seems the weeks are just flying by!!  

First I want to share another cutie from the new WildFlower Patch collection!!  She is called Poppy the butterfly fairy.

I am so Loving these new butterfly girls!!  So super sweet!!  

I also have a Mo Manning I just finished coloring.  This one I am entering into a challenge over on Die cuts R us and Copic Colour challenge.

I just love these little ducks dancing in the puddles with this sweet girl!  The sentiment is from a Sweet Pea stamps collection.  It just worked out so perfectly!!  Gotta love that!

I am in the process of going through a whole years worth of pictures to be edited and printed so I can get back to scrappin'!!  Seems like forever since I have created a page....I am missing it!!

WildFlower Wednesday!

Hello and welcome to a wonderful Wednesday!!  Today I bring you another Wild Flower Patch challenge.  The challenge this week is a sketch challenge.  Today also happens to be the day that some more yummy images are released as well!! So there is twice as much of a reason to get your buns over to The Wild Flower Patch!!   WooHoo!!

I used up some Tinkering Ink papers and this super sweet image colored in with Copics.

I am so excited about these FUN new images!  I just LOVE butterflies already and I LOVE the Wildflower Patch Kids so this mixes two favorites!  WOW!  So cool!

The pink elephant Monday!!

Hello all!!  I am happy to be back today with another challenge from TPE!!  This time it is all about GREEN....and we all got to play with the new PUDDLE JUMPERS that our very own LORI designed for the new Caludia and company line!!  WOOHOO...So exciting!!
