Stamping for all seasons

Hello crafters!  I am hosting over on QKR Stampede today.  For my project I decided to use the BIRDHOUSE stamp to create a wall hanging for all season.  One stamp for 4 seasons...Yes it can be done *grin*

Here it is (click on image for a larger picture)  I used a picture frame I picked up for a few bucks.  Took all the mat and papers out and got to work.  Each of the 4 images were colored with Copics.  I then cut each image out and added some details to a few of them.

Here is a close-up of the Spring and summer scene.  For the Spring scene I used some flower soft to add some Spring blooms.

And here is a close-up of the Fall and Winter scene.  For the Winter scene I added some glitter on top of liquid applique for snow and some stickles on a few leaves and the birdhouse holes for a frosty effect.  You can see how just changing t he colors you use on the image mixed in with a few elements you can give a very different feel to a stamp.  LOVE THAT!

Here is a detail of the corner spot on the frame.  I used a Prima flower folded in half along with a vintage abalone button tied with some green floss.  The Tomorrow chipboard was in my stash of "use it up".  The little bird is from Stampin' Up and the flourish is K&Co.

 Thanks for stopping by.  JennK

This is a super idea, very pretty! A great challenge!

An Irish version of this could be done in just one impression of the stamp - as long as it's a big umberella! :-)

Hugs,
Lily
