So we are back!! The cuttlebug Challenge blog is in full swing again!! Today I bring you another project using the NEW not even released yet...STARS embossing folder.
I have had so much fun creating with this folder. The stars are increadable!! Love it!!
Here is the front of my card I created. I used some Kraft cardstock for the base, then layered up from there. Some blue cardstock embossed with the Stars folder then inked a little. I added some patriotic ribbon. Next a layer of red cardstock embossed with the Stars folder. Lastly I stamped on some Bling cardstock by Bazzill and layered that on top of the red. A little stitching then, I cut out some of the embossed stars and used them for my embellies finished off with some buttons.
Here is the inside of my card. I used all the same papers as on the outside again, layering them. I punched out the stars this time for the bottom of the card.
Be sure to check out all the fantastic projects the NEW cuttlebug challenge blog dt has come up with. I am sure they will knock your socks off!!
Come by again soon, Jenn K

Rain, Rain, Go AWAY......
Well we had a stormy rainy day here...blahh!! But the up side to that is more time in my craft room...YAA!! So I wanted to share a few things I got done.
I am not sure why this layout scanned this way...it really isn't bent sorry for the bad picture. I am really pleased with the layout itself though. I used some new papers I happened upon at a LSS by K&Company called Daydreams...I really like it! I hand stitched all along the outside edge of the page. I so miss these days...awww my baby just turned 3 on Friday already..it is fun to look back.
For this layout I used the new Basic Grey Lime Rickey papers....I have been waiting to get my hands on them for a while but, knew that they would be in my KOM over at Back porch memories so I waited...geesh that was harder than I thought..hehehe. I had fun working with these papers, not sure how I feel about the outcome of this layout though..I like it but, well I am just not sure what it is about it....I put it away for now, maybe it will come to me.
I also worked on a few card the other day but was unable share them since my camera ate up all the juice in the batteries and I was out..AAAAAAHH!! I tried to scan them but, I think the buttons were throwing the scan off so I had to wait. So here they are...
I love this new stamp collection by Unity!! SO much fun..wish I had more time to play with them....
O.K. well, I will leave you with one last picture of my little furbaby COSMO.........
If that didn't make you smile...well, I don't know what will hahahahaaa!!

Cuttlebug BE INSPIRED # 36
In honor of the fathers is our life Cuttlebug Challenge blog is making Fathers day themed projects for your Wednesday BE INSPIRED.
Our sponsor for the team this week is Marvy Uchida we all got some great Wafugami papers. The texture to these papers is fantastic so easy to give a little more masculine feel to a card or project.
Here is a card I made using these papers as well as some designer paper by K&Company.
I painted a little behind my sentiment just to help make the sentiment and paper stand out a little more on the patterned paper. I embossed some cardboard I had from a pizza box with the Argyle Cuttlebug embossing folder..LOVE IT! I added a few buttons up the side and some twine...easy peasy and great results for a masculine card.
Try your hand at a great Fathers day card today and share it with us over on the Cuttlebug Challenge blog. Also don't forget to see what the rest of the DT has come up with too.

Hanna stamps and more...
So Hanna stamps is looking for a few Guest DT peeps.....I so love their stamps so of course I want in...LOL!! Here is a link to the Forum post with all the details..
So for my first card I used the cute little Fins Riley Moose
Such a sweet stamp for summer...
I colored the image with my Copics and paper pieced the shorts with some K&Company paper. I used some scraps to make the rest of the card and embossed the circle with the dots and spots embossing folder. I am hoping this card will help bring our sun back...we have had rain the past few days...
This card I used a Magnolia stamped image a friend sent to me (thank you) colored in with my Copics again.... I love how sweet she is in her little jeans and cute hat. Again I used up some paper scraps for the rest of the card. The sentiment is from Unity stamp.
So there you have it..2 cards that I am submitting to Hanna stamps for one of their Guest DT positions (fingers crossed).
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hugs, Jenn K

Well, I want to share a few projects I completed using my Unity stamps from the April and May KOM...
On the first card I made I used a stamp out of the April KOM. I paper peiced using some paper from Cosmo Cricket. I used some floral elements and ribbon from my stash and a rhinestone I colored with my Copics to match.
On this card I used a stamp from the April KOM also. A sentiment from the MAy KOM. I love these stamp kits...
Later in the day we had a visiter stop by.............
He was a little shy at first but eventually he came out of his shell....LOL!!
Then back to craftin' I created this layout using my Unity stamps too....
I love these pictures of me and my son at the zoo...if only my eyes were not CLOSED!! LOL!! I cannot believe the only pic of us and my eyes were closed....go figure..

The cardstock is Bazzill...The kraft paper I am unsure who it is by but I love it too!! Kraft paper goes with everything.

Hello...
I feel like June is starting to fly by like the rest of the months lately. So I have started to create a few Father's Day cards. I wanted to share a card I created this morning for my hubby from me.
I used a stamp by Stampin' Up and colored it with my copics. I was trying to achieve the look of a sunset..not sure if it is quite what I imagined but, it turned out alright. I used some remnants of paper left over from another project I recently did. I like the beachy feel of it.
Well, off I go to tackle some other things today. Have a great Sunday!! Jenn K

A few Cards to share..
So I have a few cards to share this afternoon...I have been busy with a few challenges. One for Copic Color Challenge and the other for Copic Creations!! I guess you could say I am a little Copic crazy right now...LOL!! I love coloring with them!
On to the cards....
The first card is for the Copic Color challenge. This week the color to use were..
So here is what I did with them.
I decided to color in one of my new favorite stamps by Magnolia from the Butterfly collection. I am pleased with the end results of this card. Maybe I will win the prize of the cute stamps offered by Toodles & Binks..
The next card is for the Copic Creations challenge. The challenge here is to color clear things. They have some great tutorials on this for you as well to get you started. I think that is great!! Here is the card I created for this..
Here you can see that I chose to color in a pitcher of refreshing lemonade...YUM! I also decided to add some 3D crystal Lacquer to give it some shine and dimension. Up for grabs is some AWESOME stamps from Gina K. called Friendship Blooms. Boy would I love to win this!!
Well, that does it for me today. I need to get to work on some more mundane chores like LAUNDRY...BLAH!! I would rather be craftin'!! Hugs, Jenn K

Hello!! Welcome to Wednesday be inspired over at Cuttlebug challenge blog. This week we used some Basic Grey products to make our crafty inspirations for ya!! Who doesn't love Basic Grey paper right!? I am so wanting some of the new lines, but I haven't managed to get my hands on any yet....soon I will though! *giggles*
Well, enough chatter on to the project....
I was trying to show a close up of the Argyle embossing that is behind my pictures, but it doesn't want to photograph well..Maybe click on it to see a bigger image.
Sorry my pictures have been a bit dark lately. I haven't had good days to take pictures. It is sunny enough but, WINDY.....Yikes. There is nothing quite like chasing your recent project around the yard while holding your camera in one hand and having the pups chasing you...heheheeee!! I am sure it is a real sight for the neigbors....LOL! (there goes that crazy girl chasing papers around the yard!!) Nothing like giving free entertainment to the neigborhood right?!
Well, hop on over to the Cuttlebug challenge blog to see all the other projects the dt has come up with. They are sure to give you lots of inspiration. Have a great day!! Jenn K
