Today I want to share a treat box I created using some kraft cardstock and a tutorial over on SplitCoast Stampers. If you want to make one you can get the tutorial HERE.
I used some new We R Memory Keepers "Be my Valentine" papers. and a new digi stamp from Pink Cat Studio. His name is Bronty Valentine...and I just LOVE him. He so made me think of my boys, especially my 4 year old that is in pre-school. I decided to color Bronty with Copic colors B00, B01 & B04. The hearts are colored using RV02, RV14 & RV29. Scissors are C7. I didn't have any ribbon in the blue I wanted to use to match Bronty sooo what's a girl to do? Well, I pulled out some Turquoise Creative Inspirations paint and painted some white ribbon to match. LOVE IT! It added some shimmer to the ribbon too. How cool is that?!
Here's a little close up of my ribbon.....Hope you can see the shimmer too.
Well, while creating this...guess who decided to join in the fun? Yep, my 4 year old who inspired Bronty. He decided to create his own Bronty creation...so here it is.
He is so happy with his Bronty...he colored and cut him out all by himself! Colors used...variety of Crayola markers. heheee
He even painted with Creative inspirations paint in Fairy Dust and embossed (with help...just a little) the heart on his card.
Love that he likes to craft with me.
Well, that's all we have for today....
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed our projects and maybe they even inspired you to create something today.
Happy Crafting!!
